PushupWars is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not sell your personal data. Camera data is processed entirely on your device and never uploaded to our servers.
1. Information We Collect
We collect limited information necessary to operate the app:
- Camera data: Used exclusively for real-time pose detection (counting push-ups and detecting elbow angles). All processing happens locally on your device. No video or images are stored or transmitted.
- Workout data: Rep counts, session durations, streaks, and personal records. Stored locally on your device.
- Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data about app usage (crash reports, feature usage) to improve the app. This data cannot identify you personally.
2. Camera Permission
PushupWars requires access to your device camera to detect push-up movements using AI pose estimation. This is the core function of the app.
Important details about camera usage:
- Camera feed is processed in real time, entirely on your device
- No images or video are stored, recorded, or uploaded
- Camera is only active while you are in an active workout or game session
- You can revoke camera permission at any time in your device Settings
3. Data Storage
Your workout history, scores, and game progress are stored locally on your device. This data is not backed up to our servers.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently removed.
4. Third-Party Services
PushupWars uses the following third-party technologies:
- MediaPipe (Google): On-device pose detection library. Runs locally. No data is sent to Google.
- Apple frameworks: Standard iOS frameworks for app functionality.
For the upcoming 1v1 online mode, we may use additional third-party services (such as Agora for low-bandwidth video). This policy will be updated before that feature launches.
5. Children's Privacy
PushupWars is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data stored about you
- Delete your data by uninstalling the app
- Revoke camera permission at any time
- Contact us with any privacy questions
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as we add new features (such as 1v1 online mode). We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
